Privacy policy

Northstar is operated by Randall Meike (randymeike4@gmail.com). This policy describes what we collect and why. It is boilerplate for a small digital-product site, not a substitute for counsel.

What we collect

If you subscribe, we store the email address you submit. If you buy the toolkit, Stripe collects payment details on Stripe Checkout. We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe provides us with limited transaction metadata (email, amount, payment status).

How we use it

Email: to send occasional product and article notes you asked for, and to deliver files after a purchase. Payments: to fulfill your order and keep records required for taxes. Analytics: if Plausible or Google Analytics is configured, it may collect page-view data. If those environment variables are empty, no analytics script loads.

Processors

Stripe processes payments. Resend may send email if an API key is configured. Hosting and DNS providers may process connection logs.

Retention and rights

We keep purchase records as long as needed for accounting. You may email randymeike4@gmail.com to request deletion of a newsletter address. We do not sell personal information.
